How much debt have you racked up in your career as a DJ or Rapper?

Do you buy or lease your equipment? How do you maintain until you make it big?

Personally I buy all of my equipment, and have always. I rent when I have a set where I need that extra sound.
I have been DJing for over 30 years to this day. The best way I see a young Dj coming up now a days is to join up with an organization like NERVEDJS' If he or she finds that they will have to do a collabo with others, unless they have a good gig like I did coming up. It's really hard to get that needed credit now. And we (DJ's) have to learn to not under cut just to get a gig.
i spend entirely alot of moey coming up but i know it a pay off /...........
