Y Sit GetteUp says he almost died because of a opioid and cough syrup addiction In a recent thread of tweets, the rapper Y Sit GetteUp opened about his personal experience with addiction to opioid pills and lean - a powerful combination of cough syrup, candy and soda. Opioid is a combination of Fentanyl, Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone & Meperidine. In his posts the rapper said he was shopping Lenox Mall in 2019, he was addicted to drugs, including molly, opioid and cough syrup.In a series of tweets Friday-Sunday, the 22-year old rapper - born Anthon Harris - chronicled being hooked on prescription drugs and cough syrup (also known as molly, opioids and lean) during pivotal parts of his career.He said his fans and family "started to turn on me" because of the addiction, which came to a tipping point when he fainted in the Lenox in Atlanta then was arrested a month later.
He continued: "I WAS SIPPING 4's at least 7 times a day. I was popping 3 Molly's and 4 Opioids a day. I'm addicted as I come off stage and passed out woke up in the hospital I was having felt a pain like that ever.""Ima start being more vocal. We gotta save the youth from going out early," he said. Parents watch your kids. Explain to them. We want y'all to live man. I almost died fucking with pills. To this day I'm affected."When I was 17 years old I was high off Opioids, Molly, Weed and lean everyday! When yall saw me in Atlanta Mall I was high off lean. My attitude and mood changed everyday." He then talked about the difficult withdrawal symptoms he experienced."I almost died f-king with pills and syrup. To this day I'm still addicted, my stomach and skin will never be the same and it hasn't been.
'I was doing it to beat my fear and anxiety and I did it to be cool, 'he admits. Y Sit GetteUp revealed on Twitter, 'To the youth- Stop with these dumb a** drugs. I'm going to let something out. "When I was 17 years old.
