The Groove Project Releases Two New Singles

NARKED RECORDS is proud to announce the release of  two new singles “To Be a Bird” and "First Flight". The current lineup of the musical group, fronted by GRAMMY® Award nominated Artist, Producer and Songwriter ARUN SHENOY and acclaimed producer MATTHEW SHELL, also features pianist LONNIE PARK and saxophonist MARCUS MITCHELL.

Working on a concept album about man’s fascination with flight, the inspiration for this single, “Pilot” comes from the popular quote by Neil Armstrong - "Gliders, sailplanes, they are wonderful flying machines. It’s the closest you can come to being a bird.”

Following suit, the inspiration for this single came from the quote by Leonardo da Vinci “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” Leonardo da Vinci
