ZEL has been pursuing his dream of becoming a heavy-weight in the world of Hip-Hop and entertainment since the age of 14. This Cleveland, Ohio based artist from Painesville, Ohio is a member of Young Money recording artist Cory Gunz's Militia Music. He is currently working with platinum selling producers: 4th Disciple (Wu-Tang Clan, Killarmy and Sunz of Man), DJ Lord Jazz (Lords of the Underground), Big Head Dez and Young Yonny (Lil’ Wayne & Trey Songz). Inspired by artists such as Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, 2Pac, N.W.A, Outkast, Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Slick Rick, Run DMC, KRS-1 and Big Daddy Kane, ZEL has created his own unique style of emceeing. Over the years, ZELreleased several projects which include: Lyfe Movement The Underground Railroad (1998), Hoodfactor The Factz (2002), Money & Muscle Vol. 1 (2003) and City On My Shoulders (2006).

He has recorded songs with 4th Disciple, Killah Priest, Hell Razah, Timbo King Killarmy and Wu-Tang Clan’s Hillside Scramblers. He has also been the opening act for Young Money's Cory Gunz, KRS-1, Raekwon & Ghostface Killah, Killarmy, Lil Flip, Cappadonna, Ludacris, Keith Murray, Murder Inc., Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man, Big Daddy Kane, Killah Priest, The Roots, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Capone & Noreaga and Joe Budden. Strapped with a witty flow and a remarkable ability to tap into his listener’s deepest emotions, ZEL is ready to show the world that he can be a pioneer in the Midwest Hip-Hop movement.ZELhas been nominated for several Ohio Hip Hop Awards including Lyricist of The Year, New Artist of The Year and Male Artist of the Year. ZEL’s latest mixtape, City on My Shoulders (hosted by DJ G-Spot) has been distributed throughout the Midwest region. Hit songs include, Groupie Love, Z.E.L.A.K.H.A.N. and Runaway Slave to name a few. ZEL is currently pushing his smash hit Poppin' Wheelies which features Phoenix Jones and is produced by Young Yonny, producer of Trey Songz (Say Ahh). He has also used his promotion and entertainment company Supreme Fortune Entertainment to promote and perform on the Cory Gunz Son of a Gun Concert Series, Ray Cash Ohio Music Tour and the Redbone Tour featuring adult film stars Melrose Foxxx & Mone Divine.
