TruSoul Davis is an r&b/soul singer from Cleveland, Ohio born and raised on the eastside. He always had the love for music, from a young child his mother whom played records at a local record shop, mom's played him albums from great artist such as Micheal Jackson, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder etc. When he was as young as five TruSoul started singing in middle school, talent shows, plays, and choirs he also sang in a group in middle school called the Broadway Boys. Once in high school he changed his style from singing to rap

 and was know through out the city and his school as Maddflow. Then another talent show came up and he had audition but was turned down due to rap not being wanted. But a friend of his who was the only person knew he could sing told the talent show commitee that Tru could sing and to give him another chance so they did. Once he sang their mouths dropped and from that moment on he knew he should be singing.

Trusoul then started a singing group called 216 and kept the group together over all 4 years of high school and beyond. In between the singing group he still rapped and had rap group he produced and worked with but due to creative differences the rap group stopped. The group 216 still held on from 2004 until the summer of 2015 and had little to minimal success and various member changes so they decided to part ways. After parting ways he started his own solo career and has had more success then he has ever had his newest singles on all digital retailers.
