Boohdah Bless, born, Jerry-Arguello Johnson in North Philadelphia is of Jamaican lineage. Now residing in Hinesville, Georgia, he is a musical talent to be reckoned with. "Dis another boom tune" is a moniker that he hopes the world would be able to someday hear.

At the age of nine, he began the journey of learning how to hone his craft. He loved and still loved listening to the Reggae greats... Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Marcia Griffiths, Alton Ellis, Beres Hammond, Lee Perry and a host of others. But he was also entrenched in the comings of the Dancehall and its stars...Lt. Stitchie, Shabba Ranks, Cutty Ranks, Buju Banton, Burro Banton, Super Cat, Capleton, Ninja Man, amongst others.

Boohdah's music is like no other. He blends the old school Dancehall, with modern HipHop overtones with the soulfulness of the Reggae niceness. His style is gruff, yet melodic. Sexually explicit, yet loving. Militant and definitely unapologetic.

His first official single named, In the Ghetto was released in early 2001 at the age on 19, while attending college. He gained local radio play and was able to perform at various shows in the Southern Region. Although he would continue to record and release singles, he never released an album.

In the fall of 2007, he would re-link with his longtime friend/brother, Dj Digum. With this musical relationship back in effect, he officially became a member of the SouthernHop Music Group family. With fellow artists, Kunrad, Southern Slaang and Thorough, Boohdah continuedo his journey to become one of the elites.

His first official mixtape, Love and War, was released in the Summer of 2013. Love and War was a pure mix of Boohdah. It showed his passion, his progress and his flaws as a human being. He never said he was perfect. He always said he has, "perfect imperfections." That album proved that he has the potential to make it in this industry.

His sophomore effort, Truth Hurts, is a blend of simply Boohdah and what he stands for. He doesn't let up. He gives you something edgy, yet mellow and vivacious. Boohdah has the drive, the know how, and, the team to make it far in this industry. Let's sit back, listen and enjoy the "Boom Tunes" that are on the way.
