Tha Westside - "Play"

Artist, songwriter, producer, and director, Tha Westside, was born and raised in Inglewood California. Tha Westside started his career as a "Ghostwriter", writing records for other local upcoming artists and also apart of a writing group with other local writers. In 2014 Tha Westside released his first mixtape titled The Genocide with help from local DJ Carisma and support from other local DJs and the "Young California" family. As street buzz from his singles "I got/Bands" and "Deep end" began to catch traction he became a raising star in the LA hip hop scene. Hot new hip hop .com where his mixtape released, temporarily shut down in 2014 right after he hit 50,000 hits on his growing and popular debut mixtape. Do to marketing issues and disagreements with his management Tha Westside took some time off from the music scene. Still working on his craft and other talents Tha Westside came back with a new single in 2018 titled "Bloody Sprite". The single and the video for the song caused an uproar in the religious community. Tha Westside expressed his creative views on the matter but agreed to take the video down out of respect.
