Pharmacist by day, rapper by night. Nitty B is an Indian American hip hop artist hailing from New Jersey who has been working tirelessly for years to reach his true dream of making his music a full time career. Although he enjoys his job as a pharmacist, his true passion falls in music. His interest in music began as a child listening to all different types of artists from Lil Wayne and Eminem to The Goo Goo Dolls and Blink 182. As he got older he began to study and listen to other lyricists such as Nas and Jay-Z as well as Kendrick Lamar soon afterwards. “Castles was inspired by the cut-throat environment in parts of the independent artist scene. Everybody is fighting for a spot and the limelight that you have to work harder and smarter then the next person to make it. Everyone is looking out for themselves and sometimes the competition gets so fierce it just instills anger in you which can be heard on the track.”-Nitty B
