Majix - "Remastered"

The facets of music and its ever-evolving nature have given rise to a new breed of artists and musicians. Majix (pronounced magic) are a R&B/Hip-Hop duo that are leaders in the new school of contemporary artists and they are constantly pushing the envelope and are perfectly poised to change the status quo of a male dominated hip hop scene. Born Taylor Nirvana Jones and Mea Wilkerson and currently based in Los Angeles, the duo are multitalented rappers and singers driven by a desire to stand up and be counted as the revolutionary enigmas that change the game.

The Duo will be re-releasing their sensation hit “Regular” on March 21 2021. The song has some of the industry’s finest creatives and minds in its repertoire of credits namely Mrose from VH1's reality series “Signed” which featured The Dream, Rick Ross and record executive Lenny S. and her team B3B3 (pronounced bay bay) and New Jersey’s own Gene Da Ox. This varied spectrum of influence has led to the development of “Regular” the embodiment of originality. The song captures the very ethos of Majix as 2 girls that aren’t regular.

The Song is expertly penned with the use of musical acumen and fresh ideas used to create an amalgamated and original sound. Hard hitting bars and sultry smooth vocals all tailed off by a world class hook. It’s an eargasmic fusion of dope trap bars meshed with unrivalled determination and confidence. Majix’s unique abilities confirm that they are not “Regular”, and their impact won’t be either. They are truly the piece of the puzzle that the industry has been missing.

As actors these ladies are collectively and individually making their mark. Taylor Jones and Mea Wilkerson are part of the cast of the Netflix series “Brainchild,” executive produced by Pharrell Williams. Mea Wilkerson most recent project was being cast on “The Wrong Cheerleading Coach” on Lifetime. Taylor Nirvana Jones can be seen in several national commercials including Nestlé’s Crunch, Best Buy and MTV’s VMAs commercial, which featured recording artist Lauv.
