After discovering a passion for music at a young age rapper K-Deuce has focused on becoming the best lyricist/performer he can be. K-Deuce really embraces hip hop and the story-telling concept behind it.

Tell us about where your from?

Im from Plain Dealing, Louisiana

How long have you been doing what you’re doing and how did you get started in the first place?

Been taking things serious with my craft about 7 years. Growing up watching my dad do his thing in the late 90's on the southern rap scene pretty much did it for me

Who were the first influences on your music and style?

My Uncle (Too-Tight), Dad (Mr.Versatile), 2PAC, Nas and Z-RO to name a few

In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre today and why?

I would say J.Cole because I respect the fact that as his career progressed instead of switching up its like he became more introspective artistically as time progressed.

What aspect of the music making process excites you most, and what aspect discourages you the most?

Recording is my favorite part of the process promoting is my not so favorite guess cuz I am too critical of myself at times and tend to pysch myself out.

In your experience thus far, what is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed? And one you didn’t follow, but now know for sure that you should have?

To implement a greater purpose with my music, something that would outlive me hence you get "Ghetto Messenger"

Staying too myself I feel I gave too much  time and talent contributing to others sucess stories but they were incapable of reciprocating that same energy. I guess its a blessing and a curse
