Jonafeer Richardson Better known by his stage name "J4 Da Dawg" was born on 11/24/1993 and raised in Charleston SC.

He accumulated the name "J4" from being under the wing of his big brother "J5" growing up ripping and running the streets at a young age. The "Da Dawg" part associated with his name is short for "underdog" or "undadawg" as he likes to call it. During his teenage years of his life he discovered his love and passion for music. Growing into an adult going through life obstacles, family and friend deaths and incarcerations really made him want to express his feelings and emotions on situations he was going through. What more effective way than to do it through his music he thought to himself. Ever since then he was shaping and molding himself into the artist he is today. His lyrics consists of a mind-blowing vocabulary applied with his street smarts. It gives you a fusion that creates his unique flow and style that paints a vivid crystal clear illustration on what he does,why he's doing it and how he does it.
